Shasta Grrrl

(and friends)

 

Shasta's a 10 year old (they think) golden / husky mix.  She was tied up outside most of her life I'm told, and her owners gave her to the pound when they had to move.  She has her share of problems, like arthritis, cataracts, low functioning thyroid, and she's mostly deaf.  She's also a very sweet old thing who loves just about anyone in sight.   She'd surgically attach herself to me if she could, and I'm working on helping her be just a bit more independant.  We'll see about that last one.  I found her through Grrow (Golden Retriever Rescue of Wisconsin).

Shasta with her pal Indy.  Indy's a shiba inu, and is the cutest dog in the world.   Sorry Shasta, the truth can hurt sometimes.

Riding with her other buddy Kayla.  Kayla is the smartest dog in the world.  Sorry again kiddo. Here she's trying out for the cover of a Purina Dog Food bag.  This is my favorite shot of her.

She really loves the big set of fields near work.  Stalking something dangerous surely.

Indy's a born hunter.  He does this great pouncing leap in the tall grass. See why he's the cutest dog in the whole world?
